Cesar Cordova
César Córdova (Mexico City, 1983) has a degree in Visual Arts from ENAP/UNAM (2002-2006). His work has been presented in more than 100 exhibitions in Mexico, the US, Italy, Colombia, Germany and the Netherlands. He has obtained recognitions such as the acquisition awards at the XIX Rufino Tamayo Biennial (2020) and the XXXII National Meeting of Young Art (2012); the FONCA Young Creators scholarship on two occasions (2012 and 2016), honorable mentions in the XVII Rufino Tamayo Painting Biennial (2016) and the III and IV José Atanasio Monroy Painting Biennial (2016 and 2018), as well as first place in the V National Rodin-Royal Talens Professional Artistic Painting Competition (2016). He has participated in academic talks at the UNAM Faculty of Arts and Design, the Veracruzano Institute of Culture and the Morton auction house.
