Gasque
Born in 1952, he began his career as a painter at the age of 55 under the direction of Master Sisto Pascale in Montevideo, Uruguay. For 9 years he has been in the workshops of renowned masters, currently with Hermine Demiro.
He resides in Mexico City. He began painting at the age of 55, turning his love of drawing into an activity that paid off artistically, economically, and personally.
With more than 70 group exhibitions in Mexico and the United States and 5 solo or select group exhibitions, Jacinto González Gasque is a versatile, creative and perfectionist painter. He strives to create works that reflect beauty and harmony of colors and textures, without falling into common places and classic or repeated clichés, always contributing something new, in accordance with his non-conformism and his tenacious search to develop his own style.
Its coloring is vivid and fearless, its daring forms appeal to the taste of those who are not satisfied with a generic pattern, a massified style or academic rules. The rebelliousness in the stroke of his abstracts or contemporary essays contrasts with his meticulous drawing of colors, lights, and shadows of his realisms.
