Gerardo Lopez

Gerardo López is a Mexican visual artist, born in the city of León, Guanajuato.

Gerardo has found his voice in the fusion of hyperrealism and surrealism, using oil paint technique to capture every detail with precision.

His work stands out for the innovative use of jigsaw puzzle pieces, which have become his distinctive signature.

His dedication and passion for painting are reflected in his achievements, which include a couple of solo exhibitions and over 20 group exhibitions. Additionally, he has been selected in three art biennials and has participated in national auctions. His commitment to art is evident in his constant pursuit of improvement, as he continues to work on refining his technique.

Through his art, Gerardo manages to transport the viewer to imaginary worlds and altered realities, challenging traditional artistic conventions.
