About his work: The characters that inhabit it appear on his canvases unfolding before our eyes. His painting is himself; he expresses himself, he paints himself, his ghosts, his imaginary formations. A repeated gesture that glides, what is seen is multiplied in the visible for our eyes to explore. He surprises us, provokes us to see him, breaks appearances, multiplies shots, engenders characters. The viewer strives to understand, but if his painting succeeds in making him feel beyond seeing, if aesthetic perception overcomes the weakness of cognition, the painter is satisfied to be able to engage in this intimate dialogue.
