México 1962 Leonor Hochschild has specialized her studies in painting at the “ Escola d´Arts Aplicades I d ´Oficis Artistics, LLOTJA” in Barcelona and in mixed techniques with the artist Víctor Ceprián Cortés in Madrid.  She has studied drawing with the artist Aceves Navarro in Mexico City and in the “ Escola d ´Arts y d´Oficis, Diputación of Barcelona. She also holds a bachelor in advertising design and a diploma in artistic illustration at the Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana in Mexico City.  Her artistic practice is based on the study of the subject and its behaviour; developing a plastic and conceptual language where materials acquire relevance for being the channel of communication between the ethereal and intangible worlds. Currently established in Mexico City, Hochschild has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Mexico, Europe and Asia.
