Born in Xalapa, Veracruz, México. Rabi Montoya began his studies at the University of Veracruz learning Plastic Arts Sculpture. Rabi has been selected in biennials such as the Arte en Cerámica Premio Nuevo León and the Painting and Sculpture of the Southeast.

As a contemporary artist, Montoya immediately assumed the current phenomena and created sculptures that present alloys of different cultural manifestations, from the most ancestral and mysterious to the most current and media, evidently using resources from contemporary international art.

Rabi has more than 50 solo and collective exhibitions in different countries as Mexico, Denmark and Japan.
